Mission

Yankton Verve is an organization created to bring community-minded young adults together to strengthen Yankton through civic, social and leadership opportunities and to position and establish Yankton as the destination for world-class talent, in all its diversity.

Leadership

Yankton Verve employs a part-time Executive Director who reports to a nine-member volunteer Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors is comprised of Yankton Verve members who have served as Committee members and are now interested in taking a more active role in the organization. The Board recruits and manages their respective committee members in order to deliver on focused objectives specific to their position. The Board also provides recommendations and feedback on new Verve initiatives at monthly Board meetings.

Verve members have the option to serve on one of 3 committees (civic, development, social), dedicating their spare time and energy to help execute the organization’s strategic goals and objectives. Committees are the driving force behind Verve’s strategy, programs, member development and community outreach. Committees are formed on a rolling basis throughout the year.
